I don't think many people take health messages on booz seriously - least of all young people.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking as a young adult, it's fair to say to that I am fairly calculating in my attitude to drinking.
Although I don't do this every time, on the occasions I do choose to drink heavily, I am aware of the risks, but do so anyway.
Health messages might have value, but without coupling them with messages that focus on social harms, they are not going to be successful.
